We’re hiring an Internal Communications Coordinator [Intern-to-hire] in Columbus, OH

The Role
Reporting into Employee Experience, this role requires an individual with experience in end-to-end project coordination. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to translate those into an effective internal experiences.

Reporting to: Director of Employee Experience

Responsibilities

  • Serves as logistical point of contact for internal events (ie. company all-hands, lunch and learns, executive Q&A, company celebrations/milestones, etc.).
  • Work across a network of stakeholders, vendors and other supporting external parties to ensure event is executed on time, in budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.
  • Act as event team point of contact for building management. Send weekly updates regarding event calendar, security, and workplace logistics.
  • Build/contribute to communication plans to drive healthy and high engagement.
  • Contribute to process improvement through team learnings, etc.
  • Managing the editorial calendar for internal experience.
  • Manage internal team requests.
  • Track budget and event spend.

Experience & Skills

  • 1+ years experience leading project coordination, event operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management and diplomacy skills
  • Proactive/Self-driven with a focus on follow through
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Agile/adaptable to change
  • Ability to manage stakeholder needs
  • Good interpersonal skills
