Growth Marketing Manager - (Affiliates, Influencers & Media Buyers)

The Position

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will find, launch and grow a variety of partners. You will work with the Growth & Partnership teams to identify and implement digital marketing campaigns to optimize partner growth.  You will be that rare blend of technically-minded and relationship-driven with a spark of creative imagination, managing partners’ performance toward team goals and performance marketing KPIs using existing and new tools and offerings. You are capable of thinking outside of the box and are a pro in GSD ("getting stuff done")

What you'll do:

  • Build and support Media Buyer, Influencer & Affiliate relationships with 50+ partners that promote Root’s message and grow customers
  • Support the Growth & Partnership teams in the acquisition, onboarding, and servicing of standard partners of all types (for example, content creators, influencers, media buyers, web publishers, traditional affiliates etc...)
  • Cultivate relationships with partners and work to optimize their traffic
  • Develop custom growth plans for strategic partners leveraging yours and the teams' knowledge of growth marketing and incentives
  • Create and execute strategies for managing and growing smaller partners with low touch at a high scale.
  • Conduct test and learn activities with existing and unproven partners, building recommendations and implementation plans based on results
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop creative assets and all other resources required for the day-to-day operation of channels
  • Act as a key contact for Partner questions and answers promptly, monitoring the team’s communication channels
  • Lead & collaborate on the establishment of partner goals in alignment with Growth & Partnership teams KPI objectives and drive partner performance toward those goals
  • Solve partner issues and escalate when no predetermined solution is available

What we're looking for:

  • Highly responsive individual capable of juggling multiple partners/ongoing campaigns, who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistent track record of handling multiple accounts, growing accounts by developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and collaborating on the best strategies for implementing solutions
  • Experience working with marketing partners preferred
  • 3+ years of some mix of account management, growth marketing or working with influencers, affiliates and/or media buyers. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Respectful, professional, yet relatable
  • Strong project management, time management, and prioritization skills. You don’t let things slip. 
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up like environment
  • Comfortable with Google Drive software, especially Google Sheets and Slides
  • Intermediate excel skills preferred, SQL experience is a plus 
  • Experience working with Media Buyers a plus
