We’re hiring an Analyst, Customer Insights & Analytics in Columbus, OH

The Company
In March of 2015, we set out to build an insurance solution that did two things: 1) gave an unprecedented easy user experience and 2) used modern data to more accurately predict risk. We created a mobile car insurance app, and we changed the entire industry in the process.

The Culture
Root is a venture-backed technology company. Our early success is in large part due to our unwavering standards in hiring. We recognize that our product is only as good as the people building and promoting it. We look for individuals who find solutions by going through the cycle of ideation to implementation with curiosity, rigor, and a highly analytical lens. This entrepreneurial spirit remains the foundation of the work of the Marketing Innovation team.

The Role
Think big. Start small. Scale fast.
Are you scrappy and prefer learning in real-life? Do you employ a data-guided approach to marketing?
Are you motivated to achieve aggressive business goals?

We are seeking an Analyst who can contribute to research examining how our customers think, feel, and behave. This role will be responsible for contributing to the design and execution of primary and secondary research. This role will also be responsible for translating data to actionable insights to help Root’s stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

An ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in quantitative research and a sound knowledge of statistical principles. Applicants should also have a desire to learn more advanced skills as required in this position.
