Sr. Technical Recruiter

We are looking for a Talented Remote Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the hiring plan from identifying needs and shortlisting candidates to closing successful hires. You will create a mutual win for our customers, employees and for Root by hiring great individuals for roles that are a great fit for them.
What you will be doing.
- You will be responsible for qualifying positions with the Hiring Managers, sourcing, and screening candidates, and coordinating interviews, while providing a wonderful experience for everyone involved
- Effectively conduct full-cycle recruitment to include, but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, reference and background checks, and salary negotiation
- Attract top talent at all levels across the the technology teams
- Develop creative and effective job descriptions to engage and attract top applicants
- Aggressively source and connect with both active and passive candidates using various diverse sourcing tools
- Research, recommend, implement, and utilize diversity-focused job boards
- Manage a talent pipeline ensuring open, honest, and continuous communication to satisfy current and future hiring needs
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers to create recruitment plans and determine hiring needs
- Navigate the scheduling and coordination of interviews between all candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
- Conduct effective and thorough interviews with candidates to ensure position requirements are being met
- Successfully negotiate salary, share benefits information, and finalize the offer ensuring a seamless process with all questions and concerns answered
- Uphold legal compliance and professional standards throughout the entire recruitment process
- Interact with incredibly talented professionals with various skill sets and backgrounds
What you should have.
- Experience recruiting in a corporate environment and/or agency recruiting experience
- 8+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment. A combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience is a plus
- Knowledge of and experience with an Applicant Tracking System. Workday and/or Greenhouse preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload in a constantly changing environment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people skills, with ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and diligence
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work in a team and independently
