We’re hiring a Customer Service Processor in Columbus, OH

Job Description: The Processor I role is responsible for completing back-end customer service support tasks, including processing roadside assistance claims, prior coverage cancelations, and lienholder requests for customers in an accurate and timely manner.

Report to Customer Service Supervisor.

Compensation: $15 / hour

Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm ET or 8:30am to 5:00pm ET

What you’ll be doing.

  • Manual reimbursement for roadside assistance claims
  • Assist in adding lienholders on policy documents and troubleshoot web portal issues
  • Contact agencies and other carriers to process prior coverage cancellations for all lines of business
  • Triage and assign inbound faxes and mail
  • Deliver a best in class customer experience to customers via email
  • Leverage internal tools to research and resolve requests thoroughly and accurately
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in your designated processing tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for.

  • 6 months prior customer service, processing, and/or insurance industry background
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to be timely, patient, and attentive to customer needs and requests 
  • Friendly disposition with ability to read customers and use positive language in customer correspondence 
  • Willing to go the extra mile attitude 
  • Willingness to learn and ability to gain deep knowledge of the insurance product and smartphone app 
  • Detail-oriented with an affinity for multi-tasking
