We’re hiring a Candidate Experience Manager - Customer Service in Columbus, OH

The position: As a Candidate Experience Manager, you should embody all that Root stands for while prioritizing process improvement. Know that we value finding true alignment between a candidate and opportunities at Root over transactional hiring. Our pride for what we are building should shine through in how we communicate and treat our external community. You will be responsible for each candidate's entire journey with us. You will be a member of the People Team working primarily with our VP of Customer Service, and Customer Service leadership to help in building a fast-growing team.

Reports to: VP of People

The company: Root is a company of 200 people and (mindfully) growing. In March of 2015, we set out to build an insurance solution that did two things: 1) gave an unprecedented user experience and 2) used modern data to more accurately predict risk. We created a mobile car insurance app, and we changed the industry in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all candidate touchpoints
  • Manage inbound applicants and partner with hiring managers to strategize and drive outbound.
  • Manage internal and external logistics during the interview process (scheduling, travel, expenses, etc.)
  • Use our applicant tracking system (Lever) to manage candidate progression
  • Manage pre-onboarding and onboarding duties (tech, swag, parking, and HR coordination)
  • Collaborate with the People Team to continuously evolve our process and strategy for building the best team possible
  • Special projects

Requirements

  • Detail oriented
  • Process driven
  • Passion for helping others
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc)
  • Familiarity with Lever or other applicant tracking system is a plus
